September 1, 2023 marks Galaxy’s 11th anniversary. As with most years, this milestone seemed to sneak up on me. I’m not sure if it’s that time seems to fly by or if I’m just often preoccupied with planning what’s to come at Galaxy, but it is important to slow down and reflect on this significant anniversary.
I realize that our progress and growth over the years didn’t happen by chance – it’s entirely because of our amazing team. Their dedication, genuine kindness, intelligence, and commitment to life-long learning are the reason we are where we are today. Each member of our team brings their absolute best to the table each day: contributing their unique perspectives, knowledge, and individuality, resulting in the most incredible group I’ve ever had to honor of collaborating with.
We’re also grateful for the privilege of being a part of so many families’ lives. The smiles we’ve witnessed as students walk into practice, the elation of mastering new skills, the bonds of friendships formed, the athletic and emotional growth we have nurtured, have all created such a rewarding environment.
We have come a long way in 11 years, and I’m looking forward to all of the amazing things to come. I still feel that same excitement today as I did in the beginning. And though 11 years seems like a long time on paper, it still feels like we’re just getting started.
